RevyVan

A few days ago, I bought me a real man van; together with my buddy Hansi, who is coming to Canada at the beginning of May. On Saturday evening, I got it back from the mechanic, threw my stuff in, picked up my buddy Alexis and we headed to Vancouver. This is the spot where we spent our first night.
After a bit of trouble on the road, we had a blast at MtSeymour. Nice weather, super nice views, best spring slush conditions, a very playful park and very good vibes made this day even more special.

evening scenery over Vancouver

We will stay in Vancouver for the next few days. Spring is in town and our skateboards are ready ...

The Hostel pt. III

We had a pretty nice 'family-dinner' on sunday. Just Lisa is missing. The new staff-member Robin cooked and yesterday he made a time lapse in our kitchen. Just a usual evening in our little kitchen.

The Hostel pt. II

Some words; the philosophy of the SameSun Hostels.
THE STAFF

Simon (the manager), Florence and Ellie are missing, but there is (from left to right):
Maddie, Ella, Flo, Alice, some stranger who sneaked into the pic, Lisa, Twyla (the owner) with her baby on her arms and Mick (her husband).
Thanks to Simon for taking the picture and Twyla for the pizzas.
Ella, Maddie and Flo.
I guess Ella is wondering about the meaning of Flo's weird gang-sign.
And that seems to be the proper canadian way to study ...

The Hostel

The Hostel, where I am working and staying right now.
The hostel again, at the right side.

The staff kitchen ...
... and living room.
My office; kind of.
Our crib.
Our crib again. Flo has some serious business going on and the wolf is howling louder than our roomie's xBox. Someone called it the "best place of the hostel" these days; apparently this (best) place is on top of my very personal (shining) crib.
My personal territory. I know the wall looks pretty dull. But just for now ...
